The needs and goals of individuals vary and so must our approach in training.

At Project Arete we act as a facilitator for the growth process. We encourage our athletes to become comfortable with discomfort as they break down self imposed barriers and expand their capabilities.

Meet your Coach.

Natalie’s training is rooted in the philosophy that physical growth should coincide with mental and personal growth. She first encountered this principle through Gym Jones - a Salt Lake City based gym that combines an intense training style to evolve the mental.

Starting her mentorship process at Station 515 (Detroit, Michigan), she then went on to become a fully certified Gym Jones instructor (Salt Lake City, Utah). Natalie is one of the few Westside Conjugate Tactical Certified Coaches in Canada. The Conjugate Tactical program is a flexible system designed to sustainably increase maximal strength, dynamic endurance, and explosive power not only for tactical athletes (i.e. military, first responders), but also any individual looking to develop real world physical capacity. Natalie has also completed her Westside Barbell Rule of Three certification dedicated to safely developing transferable athleticism and learning how to train for young athletes. With a core value of longevity, Natalie is also certified with Functional Range Conditioning (FRC), a system developed to support and strengthen joint health.

With a degree in Food Science from the University of Guelph and certificate in Holistic Nutrition from the Canadian School of Natural Nutrition, Natalie is able to provide additional guidance to her members in food and nutrition. Understanding that no two individuals are the same, Natalie puts an emphasis on getting to know her athletes goals, lifestyles, and stresses to provide the best support.

After experiencing first hand the power and confidence that comes with developing strength and overcoming self imposed limitations - Natalie is dedicated to supporting her athletes, breaking through their own barriers and doing things they never imagined they were capable of. Working with her community and supporting the development of the members at Project Arete is a privilege for Natalie.
